Hans Frauenschuh, Lois Stern, Jodlbühel & Alpenhaus

Some stories begin in a pram: Franziska and Matthäus have known each other since they were babies and have been a couple since 2013. Their families and the four businesses Lois Stern, Hans Frauenschuh, Alpenhaus and Jodlbühel are connected by more than their marriage.

Shared values shape all four businesses: a passion for fine craftsmanship, high-quality products and a warm, personal welcome. Each has its own distinctive character, combining traditions passed down through generations with fresh ideas.

In the heart of Kitzbühel, Maria and Lois Stern have been combining personal hospitality with Asian-Mediterranean cuisine since 1994. In their open-plan show kitchen, they craft light, sophisticated dishes using high-quality ingredients. It is a family-run restaurant for those who appreciate distinctive flavors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Alpenhaus and Jodlbühel embody Tyrolean hospitality and the family tradition of the Reisch family. The Alpenhaus on the Kitzbüheler Horn—run by the family since 1893—delights guests with homemade dishes, pastries, and expansive mountain panoramas. At the Jodlbühel country hotel and inn in Jochberg, held by the family since 1913, traditional cuisine and time-honored family recipes meet historic wood-paneled dining rooms and cozy guest rooms. Both establishments invite you to relax, unwind, and enjoy.
